Dialer v 5.0 Product Bulletin

New Dialer 5.0

BluIP is pleased to announce the general availability of the BluIP Ecosystem. The BluIP ecosystem is a web-based application container which hosts a multitude of applets geared to help you leverage and manage the features of your communication system - seamlessly integrating with all your productivity applications in one place. The robustness of the ecosystem allows it to host applications which were once only available as an extension in Chrome, such as Dialer. The new Dialer 5.0 is now an applet in the BluIP ecosystem which features a tight and seamless integration with today’s powerful productivity tools, such as G-Suites, Office 365, Salesforce, and Zendesk, with new CRM applications constantly being added.

Snippets

Snippets pull information from your integrated applet accounts and displays them through Dialer. To ensure that your snippets populate, the user must first be added to your accounts’ respective contact list.

Snippets display all the available application integrations with Dialer 5. Dialer currently integrates with G-Suites, Office 365, Salesforce, Momentum CRM, Zendesk, and Zoho.

When a call is placed or received at your extension while Dialer is running, Dialer will automatically try to match the incoming or dialed phone number against all the integrated applications.

If a match is found, it brings up a “snippet” for each matching application integration. In the example below, an incoming call from Kelly Carden came in and her phone number was matched against all the integrated applications. Scroll through the snippets to view all relevant matches. Kelly’s phone number produced a match in G-Suite and Office 365.

Clicking on an integration from the navigator menu (See Item 1) will bring up all the related information to that specific applet. For example, clicking on G-Suite (See Item 2) will bring up all relevant emails, Calendar events, and Google Drive files between Kelly Carden and the user.

Note On Office 365: When entering a contact into your Office 365 account, ensure that there are only numerical characters in the phone number entry. Otherwise, Dialer will be unable to fold relevant contact information. See Item 3.

Call Control Operations

This section of Dialer controls the calling operations.

DND (Do Not Disturb)

The DND icon ("no" sign) allows you to toggle your extension to Do Not Disturb mode, where all incoming calls go immediately to voice mail. See Item 1.
