Invoice Delivery

Orion is designed to deliver invoices via email.

Invoices can be delivered to more than one email or delivered to the Partner.

Invoices can be emailed from Orion one customer at a time or in bulk.

One Customer at a Time

From the Invoices tab:

  • Select the Invoices tab (Each customer will have an "Enterprise" account and at least one "Customer" account.  Generally the invoices will be found on the Invoices tab on the "Enterprise" account.)
  • Place a checkmark to the left of invoice number
  • Select Email button
  • The invoice will be emailed to the email or emails listed on the customer billing contact (see Overview tab)

All Customers at Once

If a Bulk Invoice Delivery run is already set up, do the following:

From the Partner account

  • Select the Setup tab
  • Select Bill Runs (under the FINANCE section, Billing)
  • Select the Bill Run called Bulk Invoice Delivery
  • Update the dates and check Enable

If a Bulk Invoice Delivery run is NOT already set up, do the following:

  • From the Partner account
  • Select the Setup tab
  • Select Bill Groups (under the FINANCE section, Billing)
  • Select the Add button
  • Enter the following Information
  • Save

From the Partner account

  • Select the Setup tab
  • Select Bill Runs (under the FINANCE section, Billing)
  • A Bill Group called Bulk Invoice Delivery will not be visible
  • Click on the Bill Run name Bulk Invoice Delivery
  • Complete information on the next screen as follows:
  • Name - remains as it appears
  • Start Billing At this date / time - enter the date and time you want the billing to run (i.e. to run February 1 invoices enter 2/1/2014 08:00:00 AM). Note:  When entering dates, it is best to use the drop-down calendar
  • Bill customers between - enter the 1st of the previous month or the earliest date found on the "Account Services Report" (enter time as 00:00:00)
  • And - enter your invoice date (i.e. first of the month - February 1, 2017). (enter time as 00:00:00)
  • Posting Date Year - This is will be the year (i.e. 2017).
  • Posting Date Month - the month the invoice is dated (i.e. Dec)
  • Select the following items by checking the box:  
    • Enabled, Run Delivery
    • Run Render Invoice
    • Use for Posting Date
    • Disable Bill Run After Billing.  
    • ONLY If you have customers with different payment terms, you will need to check Run Payment Term
  • Select Save
